December 1997 – Three hours after eight-year-old Preston Stewart returns home from his brother's first-grade Christmas pageant, it takes two firemen and two paramedics to strap his flailing form to a gurney. The superhuman strength; the growling, clawing and biting; the crazed eyes all shamelessly point to one bewildering speculation: demonization.

Preston’s mind is inexplicably hijacked by evil. What begins in a matter of minutes spirals into three years of bombardment from unseen forces.

All earthly events are factual chronicling the Stewart's as they embark on an unknown journey through a paranormal maze attempting to recapture their son. Creative license has been taken to lift the stage curtain and reveal the cast of characters in the spirit realm that human eyes rarely, if ever, see. The Army of Light, commissioned by God vs. the Dark Army organized by Satan. Fierce combat over a soul so precious that both God and Satan contend for it.

For the Stewart's, finding that elusive key to unbolt the deadlock of evil tormenting their son is more than a mission. It is an undertaking that will mark this family either as victors or victims for the rest of their lives. Only God knows the outcome as Preston’s life hangs precariously in the balance and the family's faith in God is put to the ultimate test.

Annual girlfriends' getaways are an undeniable essential. And when a flare is launched, an SOS weekend is immediately dialed into action. It is during these soiree's that tears fly, cackling abounds, corks pop and the blender whirs. This is when their brokenness is laid bare begging for cover. When healing begins her curatives then leaves behind her signature trademark – a scar. A display of survivorship and testament to these girls' bond. To carry each other back into the land of the living.

Having met as young teens in the early 1970's, these cool hippie chicks (or so they deem) eventually marry and set sail on some stormy and downright raucous seas. The late fifties trio, now in women's skin and finally without zits, will keep their lifeboats afloat no matter what. They will always have a preserver and corkscrew standing by for whoever might spring a leak. And there is a latest leak: looming widowhood for the youngest of the sisterhood.
